Description

Deliciously sweet chocolate-covered pretzels topped with crushed peppermint candies, perfect for a festive treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 ounces pretzel rods (or twists, if you prefer)
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips (make sure they are halal)
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies (or candy canes)
  • Optional sprinkles or additional toppings

Instructions

  1. Begin by gathering all your ingredients and tools: a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, and a spatula.
  2. In a double boiler, melt the white chocolate chips over low heat. If using a microwave, heat the chips in a bowl at 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  3. One by one, dip each pretzel into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing them on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the crushed peppermint candy over the pretzel, ensuring that it sticks. If you’d like to get creative, add colorful sprinkles or other toppings at this stage!
  5. Allow the pretzels to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to let the chocolate set. If you’re in a hurry, you can also place them in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
  6. Once the chocolate is hardened, carefully place the pretzels in a serving dish or an airtight container. They are now ready to be enjoyed by everyone!

Notes
