A hearty and comforting beef and potato casserole.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by the cooked ground beef, and then half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, beef, and cheese.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the milk until smooth.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the casserole, covering it well.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- After 45 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until tender and bubbly.
- Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Make sure to grease the baking dish to prevent sticking.
- This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
