Instructions
- Slice the English muffin in half. Toast both halves in a skillet with butter until golden and crisp.
- Crack the egg into a preheated nonstick skillet (use an egg ring if available). Cook to desired doneness and season with salt and pepper.
- Top the egg with shredded cheddar. Cover the skillet to help melt the cheese.
- Layer the cheesy egg onto the toasted muffin base and place the top half over it.
- Press gently and garnish with herbs or chili flakes if desired. Serve hot.
