Description

A delicious baked cheese tortellini dish with a rich pasta sauce and melted cheese, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 oz. refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 1 1/2 cup Napolitana sauce (or any pasta sauce)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180ºC) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cook the tortellini according to package directions, about 8-10 minutes. Toss the cooked tortellini with spaghetti sauce.
  3. Transfer to a baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes. During the last few minutes, turn on your broiler so the cheese gets slightly browned.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and more parmesan cheese on top if desired.

Notes

  • This dish can be garnished with fresh basil for added flavor.
  • Feel free to use your favorite pasta sauce.
