- 8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak, sliced thinly against the grain
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add pasta and cook until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Sear the Steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Season steak with salt and pepper and sear in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Prepare the Sauce: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in heavy cream and simmer while stirring.
- Combine Ingredients: Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Mix thoroughly, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired sauce consistency.
- Serve: Plate the dish, topping with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy immediately.
