Ingredients

  • 8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak, sliced thinly against the grain
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add pasta and cook until al dente, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sear the Steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Season steak with salt and pepper and sear in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in heavy cream and simmer while stirring.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Mix thoroughly, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired sauce consistency.
  5. Serve: Plate the dish, topping with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy immediately.
