Description

A delicious cherry fudge with white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups halved maraschino cherries (drained and dried)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon cherry juice (optional, for color enhancement)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly spray it with nonstick spray.
  2. Drain and pat dry the maraschino cherries thoroughly.
  3. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the white chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly.
  4. Add salt, vanilla extract, and optional cherry juice. Mix until smooth.
  5. Remove from heat and gently fold in the cherries and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Press extra chocolate chips or cherry halves on top, if desired.
  8. Chill for 3–4 hours or overnight until firm.
  9. Lift out the fudge using parchment overhang and slice into squares.
  10. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
