- 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by slicing the zucchini and mincing the garlic.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear it in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add the zucchini and stir occasionally for about 5 minutes until tender.
- Add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the zucchini, cooking until fragrant.
- Slice the rested steak against the grain, return it to the skillet, and toss everything together before serving.
Notes
- If preferred, marinate the steak for a few hours before cooking to enhance the flavor.
- Serve the dish with a side salad or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
