Description

This delicious recipe combines seared steak with sautéed zucchini, making for a quick and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the zucchini and mincing the garlic.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt.
  3. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear it in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add the zucchini and stir occasionally for about 5 minutes until tender.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the zucchini, cooking until fragrant.
  6. Slice the rested steak against the grain, return it to the skillet, and toss everything together before serving.

Notes

  • If preferred, marinate the steak for a few hours before cooking to enhance the flavor.
