Delicious buffalo chicken wontons filled with creamy goodness, perfect for a party or game day!
Ingredients

- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 1 lb)
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying (about 2 cups)
- Ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing (for serving)
Instructions
- Cook the chicken by poaching in boiling water for about 15 minutes until fully cooked. Shred while warm.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, chopped green onions, and minced garlic. Mix until smooth.
- Lay out wonton wrappers and place about 1 tablespoon of filling in each center. Moisten edges with water and seal tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the rangoons until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes each side.
- Let cool slightly before serving with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Notes
- These wontons can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
- Adjust the buffalo sauce to increase or decrease the spice level as desired.
