Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Wash the blackberries gently and toss them with ½ cup of sugar in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Spread the blackberries evenly in the prepared dish, then pour the batter over them.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
