Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with diced onion and green pepper for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning; cook for an additional minute.
  3. Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce; let simmer while preparing pasta.
  4. In a separate pot, boil salted water and cook elbow macaroni until al dente according to package instructions. Drain.
  5. Mix drained pasta into the meat sauce until well combined.
  6. Top with grated cheddar cheese before serving warm.
